Kokeshi are a type of Japanese doll characterized by an enlarged head and a lack of arms and legs.
My previous version (Kokeshi Doll v1) of this subject required two sheets of paper. This new version achieves a similar look from one square.
To design this one-piece version, I took the body piece from the previous version and doubled the paper size to allocate paper for the head. This change can be seen in the new crease pattern. However, the center paper for this model is mainly unused - the bulky excess is hidden in the head and helps lock down the face layer.
